Mr. Bijay Neupane's PhD research investigates the spatial–temporal patterns, landscape drivers, and livelihood impacts of human–megafauna conflict across Nepal’s tropical lowlands (Terai landscape), integrating multi‑species conflict data with fine‑scale ecological and socio‑economic analyses. He combine spatial modeling, remote sensing, and household‑level surveys to understand risk patterns and the socio‑economic factors shaping communities’ vulnerability and responses to wildlife losses. With extensive field experience and over 50 peer‑reviewed publications in conservation science, He brings strong interdisciplinary expertise in human–wildlife interactions and landscape‑level risk assessment.
